Emmy is a red merle female... whose bloodline on top goes back to my Rosie, a littermate to my beloved Slash'n. She is out of Cajun, a bitch bred by Tracey McPherson of C-Me Aussies who is by Slash V Skipa Star (Sam X Key) out of Tracy's Red, WTCH C-Me Amandas Purdy Red Murial, RTDcs, DNA-CP HTDId, HTDIIcsg. Red is sired by Norm Andrew's Spike.
Judds Chickasaw Dan, Hangin' Tree Dude and Slash V are all present and accounted for top and bottom. As you can see below her pedigree is power packed. We're so thrilled to have her as an addition at Coosawattee. Emmy has shown a lot of potential and is developing into a very nice cattle dog. She works with a moderate amount of eye and finesse on sheep. Her gathering instincts are very strong and she has excellent balance on stock and covers her stock with amazing confidence for her age. Emmy’s intelligence, willingness to accept training and working ability is much the same as her grand-dam Rosie (Waters Coosawattee Rose, OTDsc). She has a similar working posture and the amount of eye on stock as her grand-sire Roy. She has probably been the easiest dog for me to train to her WTCH if you consider that I am no trainer. Emmy completed her first qualifying score in Started Sheep at the GAASC trial in Cartersville, GA in March of 2008 and finished her title in Dothan, AL at the April Showers trial. At the FCASC's February 2009 trial, Emmy earned her first leg in STD cattle with a qualifying score and a 3rd place finish. She earned another 1st place finish in Open Sheep with a qualifying score of 88.
Emmy also, completed her STD duck title with Tony handling her with two 1st place finishes and qualifying scores of 71 and 89. At the GAASC Spring Fling March 2009, Emmy finished her STD cattle with a 1st place finish and a qualifying score of 77. In combination of two weekends in October 2009, Emmy received her OPEN title in Cattle, Sheep and Duck with some impressive scores and HIT in Ducks at both the FSASC and GAASC. Emmy also earned HIT Aussies at the GAASC, October 17th a.m. trial. She finished her advance ducks and one leg of advanced cattle at the Christmas Classic in Dothan, AL on December 15, 2009. That is the first advance division I have ever completed in. At the 2010 WASC of Georgia May trial, Emmy finished her WTCH with a HIT Sheep score of 114. She also had HIT Ducks with a score of 113 and a HIT Cattle score on Sunday of 113.
